2 years later and I still forget to place my stitch markers sometimes! When I crochet, I sometimes get into this zone and all logic leaves. 🤪 I’ve gotten a little better, but every once in a while there that bish is, still on the table.

Stitch markers are really helpful when crocheting or knitting, but it isn’t necessary to buy an “actual” stitch marker. If it is something easy, I use nothing. I’ve used bits of yarn, Bobby pins, safety pins, and even paper clips. What is your preferred method of marking your stitch?

Here is a tutorial for the magic ring done two ways. I prefer the first way, but that is due to the items I normally crochet. The first method was definitely a lot of trial and error. The second method involves chaining 2 and crocheting into the first chain. Hope this helps! Thanks for the question!!
