I love trying out new glazes. Opening a kiln with a test piece in it is like opening presents on Christmas morning! This time my experiments produced something gorgeous! This glaze was inspired by The Japanese Painted fern. It’s a plant local to Eastern Asia and is known for its beautiful green and purple colors. I’m so happy this one turned out and I’m glad we will be stocking the shelves with pieces glazed like this!
