Terrarium fun! Didn’t these ladies create beautiful plantings? Thanks for being being my fist terrarium pop-ins. I had fun and I hope you did too! Visit our Plant Bar to build yours- perfect when it’s rainy, too cold out or too hot outside. Actually, plants are for every day… We have lots of vessels and plants to chose from.

This beautiful antique empire is finis! She’s huge with a grand beveled mirror that’s certain to brighten a bedroom and provide ample storage. Do you notice the subtle alligator texture? I think it’s a fun twist for tone on tone… I do believe white is out of my system now 😜 On to the next one!

Remember the two nightstand designs you voted on? (See last pic). Well, basically option A is underneath this finished set. Perhaps someday someone will start sanding and be excited to find a hidden design underneath How fun, right? As witty as this could be, it wasn’t intended. It was a struggle and a pivot. I created the originals around using a specific product and it just didn’t work. I pushed through until BOTH looked like the one on the left and all they needed was distress and wax.. I hated them. I was working way too hard. Creating is supposed to flow and be fun. So I painted over them. Once I did, the mood shifted and the rest just happened. The finished product is created with DIY Paint Skeleton Key and Black Wax with the IOD Madeleine Transfer. Thoughts?

A huge area of the workshop is taken over by this dresser and mirror (behind it on the table). For for a full week now. I might sand the top this morning for a do-over. White is hard and not super fun. What was I thinking? NO LIVE today— I just have too much to do and no space to work in. Have a great Friday 🩵🩵🩵

What’s on the porch at Serendipity. So many goodies for your DIY Builds. Shutters that would be beautiful garden walls, sap buckets and lids, railings, windows, an old barn cabinet, huge cast iron and cement urns, spindles, iron tables, benches and gates… what would you create? I have plans for some shutters and the Thunderbird hood is begging to be an awning! **** I have a couple gorgeous Mandevilla left then they’re gone for the season **

Well no one even told me it’s a holiday weekend. At least I knew it was May, so there’s that. What are you doing for the long weekend? I’m hoping to finish at least 2 of many projects and keep things organized here as we rearrange. Meanwhile, here’s some of what’s in the shop this morning. Hope to see you out and about this weekend. Hey friends! NO LIVE tomorrow. I apologize for the inconsistency. Furniture has been going and coming this week with more tomorrow. I’ve had so many balls in the air that I haven’t even prepped the dresser. The plan is still Sweet Pickins Milk Paint. In order for me to share this LIVE, I need to go with the flow and give you 24 hours notice which is more reflective of my life anyway— planning is nearly impossible these days. Do you even WANT to learn about milk paint? If so, what colors catch your eye? I’m thinking something light.

***I got a hefty restock of SPMP and am working on getting it listed. If there’s a color you see that you’d like to buy but don’t see it on my website or at the shop, please ASK. Chances are, I’m just behind. LOL. Welcome to my life!
