We have some fun new classes coming up this fall at Paradise!

Abbie is back with a new wet felting class! Create a beautiful wool landscape complete with rolling hills, colorful details, and a flock of sweet little sheep! Abbie will guide you through the process of wet felting your landscape, then show you how to add dimension with parts of the sheep needle felted. All materials included and no knitting or crochet experience required!

We have a weaving workshop in October! Learn the full process of weaving on a table loom with award-winning Montana weaver and teacher Annette Swan Schipf. Over three days of hands-on sessions, you’ll design and wind a warp, dress a loom, begin weaving, and learn how to remove and finish your cloth. You’ll make approximately 4–5 mug rugs and leave with step-by-step handouts you can use for future projects. This is a table loom class, not a rigid-heddle loom class. No weaving experience is necessary. We will provide looms for students to use in class!
I was so bummed to have to miss knit night due to the fires and being evacuated. Living at the shop with our four dogs and son wasn't fun, but we were so grateful to have our home to return to. I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone at knit night on the 2nd!

Eco Print Dyeing class with Justin at Paradise Fibers! We all brought in flowers and greenery to dye our fabric with the prints of the flowers and leaves. Everyone’s projects turned out so beautiful and unique!

Did you know we have our own woodshop in the basement of our building?

Having an in-house woodshop lets us design fiber art tools with the people who actually use them in mind. Each piece is thoughtfully made, carefully finished, and built to last.

Our handcrafted collection includes our Paradise Fibers Super Swift, blending boards, wool combs, and other tools for spinners, knitters, crocheters, and fiber artists. Because they're made right here in Spokane, we can pay attention to the little details that make them both beautiful and functional.

In a world filled with mass-produced tools, we love being able to offer something made by real people who understand the craft.

Malabrigo’s Fall Knit Along is almost here!

Beginning September 18th, we'll be casting on the Hygge Shawl, a brand new design by Jill Tamminen of Knit Sisu created especially for this KAL. We put together kits for this to make it easy to get your supplies!

The Hygge Shawl uses three colors of Malabrigo Caprino, with simple stripes of stockinette and garter stitch to create lots of texture and movement. It's a beginner-friendly project and a great way to play with color without complicated colorwork.

You’ll need two skeins each of three colors of Caprino. Caprino is a super soft blend of 80% Superfine Merino and 20% Cashmere, making this shawl so cozy and luxurious.

Malabrigo will also be offering pattern support throughout the KAL, including weekly Zoom meetings with Jill, an online community where you can share your progress, and weekly prize opportunities for registered participants.

Choose your three colors in your kit and join us! I added some color combination ideas, but you can always call, email, or chat and we're happy to take pictures of color combos for you!

Our July Fiber Club was soda fountain themed and inspired by our local ice cream parlor . This is your last chance to sign up for Fiber Club and receive these dreamy fibers before the new club ships September 1st! We also have them available separately if you'd like to try one.

Soda Fountain is a swirl of 67% Merino and 33% Falkland in the same colors as our beloved ice cream shop!

Strawberry Malt is a creamy mix of 37.5% Merino, 25% BFL (Blue Faced Leicester), 25% Rose Fiber, 12.5% Silk.

KOKON BLEU has such beautiful chunky yarns, so I wanted to share a few patterns that show them off!

Slubby Mohair is so soft and adds texture and dimension to your projects. Chunky Mohair has the same soft, fuzzy halo you love in traditional laceweight mohair, but in a fluffy, chunky weight.
