🕯️ Let’s Talk Candle Lingo: Cold Throw vs. Hot Throw! ✨

Ever wondered why your candle smells one way before lighting it and another way once it’s burning? Let’s break it down! 🖤

❄️ COLD THROW
This is the scent you smell when your candle is not lit. Simply open the lid, take a gentle sniff, and enjoy the fragrance! Cold throw gives you your first impression of a candle’s scent.

🔥 HOT THROW
This is the fragrance your candle releases while it’s burning. As the wax melts and warms, the fragrance fills the air, creating that cozy, inviting atmosphere we all love. The hot throw produces layers and is what helps determine how far and how strongly a candle’s scent travels throughout your space.

✨ DID YOU KNOW?

A candle can have a strong cold throw but a lighter hot throw, or vice versa! Both matter, but hot throw is especially important when you want your favorite fragrance to fill your home.

At Black Palm Candles, we believe a beautiful candle should be an experience for the senses—from the first sniff to the moment its fragrance fills your space. 🖤🌿

💬 Tell us! Are you someone who loves smelling a candle before buying it, or do you want to know how it fills a room once it’s lit?

Or Both? Like Me ♡♡♡

Website has been updated! We have so many new Fall drops ♡

Available here before the market this weekend.

I have limited stock of our candles but if you crave something out of stock, we can still make for you...no FOMO. The disclaimer is....you can order out of stock candles, but it will take a week at least due to nature of making natural wax candles. ♡
