New custom piece available!

This item can serve a few different functions. It would look great as a hallway table, entryway / foyer table, computer desk, etc.

Crafted from Live Edge Elm. An oil / hard wax finish has been applied.

Grain colors/tones are slightly darker in person. The lighting gives a lighter appearance.

"New Home" wrought iron sewing machine base. New Home was a competitor of Singer sewing machines. This sewing machine base dates back to the 1920s, possibly a little earlier.

Treadle and wheel are still functional. In other words, you can spin the wheel with your foot, lol.

Hello fellow live edge lovers and woodworking enthusiasts! I wanted to mention that I have custom items for sale.

It seems my sales posts really get buried by Facebook and my followers don't get notifications for these types of posts.

Whenever I post about the items I've made for other people, a lot of people get a notification that I've posted new stuff on the page. Zuckerberg doesn't like the fact that I don't use his sponsored ads so he can get a little piece of the pie, lol!

New custom piece available! This butcher block style piece is searching for a good home.

This piece can serve multiple purposes. It can serve as a cutting board, charcuterie board, serving tray, decorative display stand, etc.

Crafted from edge grain Sapele (Mahogany), Cherry, and Red Oak. Tung oil and hard wax finish.

Rubber bumpers have been attached to the base to keep up off of tops and prevent sliding / slippage.

Pam recently contacted me stating that she needed a live edge computer desk. Pam and her family have been customers since I went out on my own 5 years ago.

These pictures don't represent the true grain tones and colors due to the overhead fluorescent lighting making things lighter in appearance. There will be more pictures to come once the desk is in Pam's home.

The wood species is Elm. Oil and hard wax finish. Considering there are no true 90° angles on this piece we chose to go with cylindrical metal legs with adjustable feet.

The legs are sturdy and stylish, they don't appear rigid against the flow of the wood slab.

I wanted to post these because I've had some people asking me questions about what the countertops looked like prior to the hard maple countertops I made.

This is the before and after of Melanie and Frank's countertops and backsplash. The original countertops were stained pine.

These pictures just popped up in my feed. It's a refinish that I did a little while back.

Initially I was just supposed to refinish the top...it needed some love. However, once the top was refinished I had to touch up the rest to make it match.

I didn't charge for the extra work, Shawn and Diane have been loyal customers for years.
