We're honored that Residential Systems gave four pages of its September issue to HAA Link in the feature "Unlocking Professional Audio Precision." Home Acoustics Alliance founder Gerry Lemay talks with editor Anthony Savona about the origins of HAA Link, which combines in-depth calibration controls with precision measurement tools for direct calibration of a processor. How do you protect intricate wall treatments from errant golf balls while building one of the most advanced home cinemas in the country? Carefully.

The Nerve Park City theater paired a reference-level immersive system with a professional golf simulator, engineered to RP-22 performance standards. HAA founder Gerry Lemay led the acoustic design.

In his words: "The Park City theater was an outstanding project. As always, combining top acoustical design with a highly specific and amazing interior design is a challenge, but adding a golf simulator made this memorable indeed. We focused on our mandate, a no compromise acoustical framework with precision placement of seats, speakers, and subs. The challenge included making sure our treatment strategy worked with the intricate wall decorations, oh and by the way, protect them from errant golf balls. Nerve provided us with an opportunity to create both a fantastically beautiful room and a sonic palace to entertain one the most advanced home cinemas we've worked on. We're very proud of this one."

Integrators from different markets, different company sizes, and different corners of the industry, all together in one spot.
