Ten years.
What a privilege it has been.
Ten years ago, I wasn’t writing a business plan or dreaming of owning a design firm. If I’m being honest, Nora O’Halloran Design started almost by accident. On a whim, I registered an LLC and said “yes” to helping a few friends with their homes, hoping I knew what I was doing and figuring it out one room at a time.
Somehow…that turned into a career.
One project became another. Clients told their friends and family. My dining room table became an office. My kids grew up alongside the business.
To every client who has welcomed us into your home and trusted us with such a personal part of your life, thank you! It is a privilege I never take for granted. Every project has a story, and I’m honored that we’ve been invited to help tell it.
I’ve been incredibly lucky to work alongside talented trades, vendors, contractors, showrooms, and creative partners who somehow make the impossible look easy (and occasionally talk me off the ledge when a tile is backordered for the third time).
What started almost by accident has become more than I ever imagined. Ten years and hundreds of homes later, I am incredibly grateful for every client, every referral, every lesson, every challenge, and every person who has been part of this journey.
Thank you for making these first ten years so special.
