It's not only about Livestock. I'll have a craft table set up on Monday, Labor Day. Come & Catch the Rainbow!
⭐️ It’s time again - for one of those lengthy (but important) posts! ⭐️
⚠️ ATTENTION SMALL ANIMAL SELLERS 🐇🐓🦆 1️⃣ All small animals (rabbits, birds, etc.) that sell through the auction MUST sell WITH cages on the holiday. Cages don’t have to be fancy, but they DO need to be secure AND have solid bottoms. (NO laundry baskets with narrow bases, glass aquariums, or cardboard boxes please - except for baby chicks and those MUST have sufficient ventilation!) 2️⃣ Cage unloading will take place on the WEST side of the Bird Barn. Please follow signs for traffic flow purposes. 3️⃣ Please arrive BEFORE 10:30AM to tag cages in and to avoid the last minute rush. Cages begin selling at 11:00AM. No Sunday drop off for cages please!
⏰ Miscellaneous items and hay will follow cages. Livestock will begin in the barn once cages and feeder pigs have been sold (no earlier than 1 PM).
🐐🚜 Livestock and round bale unloading will be available on Sunday from 12PM-6PM and Monday starting at 7AM.
⛺️ Many vendors have pre-reserved, but we do still have vendor spaces available! Vendor set up times are Sunday from 9:30AM to 8PM and starting at 4:30AM on Monday morning. Drop in rate (for Sunday and Monday) is $15 for a 12x30 space (paid upon arrival/sign in).
📸 If you have animals (or miscellaneous) coming for the auction that you would like to have posted on Facebook, please PM pictures to us. (Pictures posted directly to our page or items that are attempted to be private marketed on our page will be deleted.)
🍼 We have milk replacer (calf and goat/kid), bottles, puppy wormer, Spectra 5 vaccines, and a variety of other products available for purchase in the auction office (for those “unplanned” purchases 😉). Check it out - even if you don’t buy anything at the auction!
🐶 We ❤️ dogs BUT please leave yours at home (puppies sold as a vendor is the exception). Many of our auction attendees and even the animals we’re selling are sensitive to the presence of canine companions.
🍔🍦🍿 Come hungry! The restaurant will be open, as will the Knights of Columbus, and the homemade ice cream stand run by the Amish.
💻 We do not offer online bidding; however, we can arrange for absentee bidding. If you see something you like, give us a call at (989)635-2183 to make arrangements. (Note: Telephone is often better monitored on auction day than FB pm.)
💰 Seller checks will NOT be issued during the sale on Labor Day. Please contact us by 8 PM if you would like to pick up your check on Tuesday, otherwise all checks will be mailed Tuesday.
💴 We accept cash, check (with ID), and credit/debit card (with 3% fee) for purchases. All items and livestock must be paid for at the time of purchase and before removal from the premises.
👋🏻 Buyers MUST have a YELLOW bidder card in hand to buy. If you have lost yours or need a new one, please stop in the office to get a new one.
