Happy fall, y’all! (or insert whatever other cheeseball saying you want here). 🍁

With things winding down outdoors (haha just kidding I am just over the heat and bugs so manifesting outdoor work is almost over) I have been shifting into fall before the lil red shed closes up for the season.

Pretty excited to share some of my favs I have been making since the Mayflower crashed. No, I have not found an efficient way for you to rip bumps from an alligator tail or started manufacturing my own nose candy. (If you know what any of that means- shame on you, Jesus is watching). 👀👀

Even though carpet isn’t as popular- rugs, furniture and upholstery are still pretty popular! If you have dogs inside, need to mask the scent you just transported a baby mini donkey home in your car or company coming in five minutes- then you need this in your life. Pick up a fancy, refillable chair at one of the pop up parties coming up! 🕺🏼

Speaking of pop up parties- I will be opening the red shed for some four hour sessions thru October and however long in November Mother Nature doesn’t freeze us out. These are the absolute best times to start crossing off names on those Christmas lists. I also have 7 remaining CSA subscriptions for 2027 to sell so don’t wait to plan a day trip with your favorite humans.

We have been sliding into fall here on the ranch so I want to take a pause and say THANK YOU for all of the support this season! ❤️❤️❤️

Pesticide free flower, fruit and vegetable farming is always a crapshoot in Wisconsin weather, but this was a successful year overall. I have been obsessed with the pretty flowers coming daily here 💐 I also have more cherry tomatoes than you can shake a stick at.

So to make sure no one misses out on flowers, fruits and vegetables (plus other goodie surprises) I am SO EXCITED to offer a limited supply of CSA boxes for next season🤠🕺🏼💃

Community supported agriculture (CSA), if you are not familiar, is when you pay a subscription and in return are supplied with fruits, flowers and vegetables thru the season. Farming is a business so it is the customers opportunity to be vested in the success of the farm and reap the rewards. Whatever is in season at that time will be in your box- to make it a little more fun though I have decided to expand on some items. Think of it like Fab Fit Fun treats for you and the family but less expensive and completely useful!

I am only offering ten subscriptions for 2027 so reach out early and get signed up to reserve your spot. Boxes will run for six months- May thru October. While your box will include what’s available at that time- expect some slower weeks that are supplemented with soaps, lotions, candles and other fun homemade items.

Yearly one time fee is $20.00 and then for $20.00 a month (literally two Starbucks coffees) you will receive a box TWICE a month. (That’s a steal- you can’t get fresh flowers and produce anywhere else for less).

What’s the catch? Glad you asked because I love transparency! Farming is a gamble and circumstances beyond control happen (like weather and bears). There are times that some things just don’t grow and then there are things that never stop growing (looking at you cherry tomatoes)👀 you will be a vested party in the farm which means YOU will also be watching the weather, cussing the wind and mumbling things like “gosh we sure you could use a steady rain.” It will make you interesting at parties, provide you endless small talk opportunities and can tap into your urban/hippie vibes by using terms like “CSA.”

One time yearly $20.00 sign up fee and $20.00 for six months is a steal so send me a msg to get on the list now for 2027. With only ten spots I wouldn’t sleep on this offer, friends!

We have all been there….. our significant other tells us to be home at five because we have plans. We promise we will be but then you stop at a buddy’s house, or perhaps the bar for one.
Before you know it you have 15 missed calls and 22 unanswered texts. You sneak in after midnight with the gracefulness of a blind hippo in a crystal shop.

If you sent it on Saturday and need to say “I am sorry” on Sunday- lemme help you! Stop out today and grab that “I’m sorry” gift. Open now until 6:00 pm tonight (hours are changing with daylight). If you really messed up, the church is within walking distance. If you are off the hook, the bar is also within walking distance from the farm stand. Look for the big “Open” flag!

Lastly, since nothing catastrophically broke down this week- I am feeling generous with pricing! The pole beans are so good for making dilly beans so don’t wait to get here!

We are nearing the end of cucumber season 😞 cukes are my favorite garden veggie and what beats home grown, pesticide free veggies?!

I hate seeing things go to waste so this is your sign to come get these bad boys before they are all gone. It’s a perfect time to make refrigerator pickles! As we wave goodbye to these delicious logs of goodness we honor them with a sale this week!

6 cucumbers for $2.00 or .50 for one now until end of 2026 season.

We are still going strong on peppers, jalapeños, basil and zucchini. Starting to see some cherry tomatoes and apples turn. Right now all the apples prematurely dropping find happy homes with Rowdy and Pedro. 🤠

Oh my gosh! I am SO excited about all the visitors that have stopped by the lil’ red shed roadside stand! I have received some very kind messages and am overwhelmed with all my new neighbor friends stopping to support me!

It’s scary moving to a new area, becoming a “farmer” late in life and then putting your passion projects out to be scrutinized. The feedback has been nothing short of phenomenal though and as the produce tapers off that means there will be an influx of hand crafted, unique items.

I have many exciting and fun ideas so your support is keeping me motivated! Please continue to spread the word, like, follow and share.

I love boxing up goodies for others ❤️🫑🥒💐 hoping to offer a limited amount of CSA subscriptions/boxes starting late spring, 2027.

In the mean time, shop is restocked with fresh produce for the weekend! Hoping to get some baked items out before the end of the weekend as well (the Morning Glory Muffins were a hit!)

I never had a fantasy football team but I suspect my planting planning is similar to building my starting offense 🧐

Ordering and planning for spring 2027 starts with planting in fall 2026. One of my favorite things about becoming a hobby farmer at 42 is seeing the planning coming to fruition 💐

Each year I am learning more in order to build a beautiful holistic space for everyone. It’s so exciting!
