Got to send some beautiful photos of my student Lynn’s wonderful purse she learned to sew.🧵 She did such a great job and has improved her skills so much!
Up next is a mini kiss lock coin purse to match!

New skills learned:
Darts
Inserting a zippered pocket.
Inserting a lining to fit properly.
Learning about different feet that can be used during this project.
How interfacing can be used and where to place it and use it effectively.
Bias tape finishing the end without bulk.
Adapting to new skills and making the pattern material work for the purse.
Dimensional thinking is always hard but challenges your brain and this project you get to learn all about how to bring the pieces of the purse together in ways that don’t make sense at first but works.

Finished these up, went back in for an alteration of the bib and I think it is so much fun!

Overalls in the making. I need to adjust the bib to fit my frame better. Pics will be coming soon but I loved this project and can’t wait to try another overall pattern.
