I had a chance to work a little on my husband’s cousin’s family heritage scrapbook project last weekend and thought I’d post it here. I did adjust the position of the doily half-circle after I took the picture (I moved it up under the pic a half-inch), and I may redo a tag yet. But it’s here for the most part, in all its Cabin 2 glory, in neutrals. CST 6.13.25

My craft desk recently on a good day after cleanup. Trying to get back there again, but I’m sorting things for upcoming cards and a couple of baby projects. I spent a couple of days recently with a cousin I’m teaching to make cards, though crafting time for me is generally inconsistent and unpredictable with me with current life demands. Regardless, it felt good to glue some things together, and now I have another card for sale. (Teaching doesn’t mean a lot of personal projects.) Hope you enjoy! I just used up some older products in my stash for this, along with a little shimmery Wink of Stella on the candle flame and cupcake confetti.

About Me

I’ve been a crafter for as long as I can remember. I grew up learning from many relatives about all kinds of crafts. Now I tend to focus on cross-stitching, scrapbooking, cardmaking, the occasional sewing or painting project, and my ongoing crazy quilt. I’m a relatively new cardmaker in comparison, but I’ve been scrapbooking since the late 1990s and cross-stitching well before that.

A few years ago I was looking for a way to find my mother-in-law more income, so I started an Etsy shop for our items. Since then I’ve taken on custom orders for cards of all occasions and even baby shower and birthday invitations, as well as uploading cards, scrapbook layouts, and random antiques and collectibles to the same Etsy shop as I get time and have extra projects.
