Sometimes a girl just needs a dozen cookie dough pops to make it through her workday 💜 and who could blame her when there is a literal blizzard happening outside right now? I’m so happy my office neighbors reached out to me with their craving for cookie dough pops today! 🍪🍡

Fun fact: these are gluten free cookie dough pops! Raw flour isn’t safe to eat so I developed recipes for cookie dough without raw flour. Featured here are my brown butter salted cookie dough pops (made with gluten free flour), but I also offer confetti cookie dough, peanut butter cookie dough, and brownie batter pops! 💜

My holiday baking this year was a bit of a challenge (using someone else’s baking supplies, kitchen, and equipment) that was exacerbated by the plumbing backing up on Christmas Eve (we couldn’t wash dishes/use the kitchen in general/serve our planned Christmas meal) 😵‍💫 but I still attempted two chocolate Christmas tree cakes, both filled with a dark chocolate ganache, decorated with sugared cranberries and sprinkles, and topped with sugar cookie stars ⭐️ (all made from scratch). We also rescheduled our annual “not gingerbread” decorating event for Dec. 26 and had a good time despite the plumbing problems 🎄 Finally, I wrapped the whole visit up with some wine by the fire 🔥🍷
