One of our favorite things about working with wood is seeing a beautiful slab turn into something completely different. 🪵

This live-edge mesquite coffee table is one of our latest furniture builds, and it’s also a little preview of what you’ll be seeing more of from Matt & Lauren Design.
We’re starting to put more of our focus into furniture builds, including dining tables, benches, coffee tables, desks, and other custom pieces. There’s just something really rewarding about building pieces that are meant to become part of someone’s home for years to come.

And this particular table will be available for sale at Vintage Market Days Coastal Carolina next weekend! At about 42” long and 17.25” tall, it’s a great size for a condo, apartment, smaller living room, or anyone looking for a coffee table that doesn’t overwhelm the space.

Come check out this table and everything else we’ve been working on at Vintage Market Days Coastal Carolina, October 2–4 at the John T. Rhodes Myrtle Beach Sports Center.

One custom dining table. One matching bench. One very happy client. 🙌🔨
We were back in Cornelius, NC over Labor Day weekend to finish up a project we started back in August.
After building the custom dining table, we came back to add a matching bench that ties the whole set together. Same wood, same design, and made specifically for their space.
And honestly… we think the finished set looks pretty awesome. 😍 Even better, our clients couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.
We’re looking forward to our next table build. Could it be for you?
If you’ve been thinking about a custom dining table, bench, coffee table, desk, or another piece built specifically for your space, send us a message. Let’s talk about what we can build together.
Your space. Your style. Built for you. 🔨
