ONE-PAN PHILLY CHEESESTEAK EGG ROLL SKILLET WITH CREAMY GARLIC RANCH
INGREDIENTS:
1 pound ground beef or chicken
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 small onion, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 red bell pepper, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
8 egg roll wrappers, cut into strips
1 cup shredded provolone cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
For the Creamy Garlic Ranch:
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon ranch seasoning mix
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
INSTRUCTIONS:
STEP 1: COOK THE MEAT AND VEGETABLES
Heat Oil: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Cook Meat: Add the ground beef or chicken and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
Add Vegetables: Stir in the diced onion, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, and minced garlic. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
Season: Add Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well and remove from heat.
STEP 2: ADD EGG ROLL WRAPPERS
Add Egg Roll Strips: Gently fold in the egg roll wrapper strips into the skillet, mixing them with the meat and vegetable mixture.
Melt Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded provolone cheese over the top. Cover the skillet with a lid and allow the cheese to melt for about 3-5 minutes.
STEP 3: MAKE THE CREAMY GARLIC RANCH
Combine Ingredients: In a small bowl, mix together sour cream, mayonnaise, ranch seasoning mix, minced garlic, and lemon juice until smooth.
STEP 4: SERVE
Garnish: Once the cheese is melted and bubbly, remove from heat. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
Drizzle Ranch: Serve the skillet warm, drizzling the creamy garlic ranch over the top.
