While I am weaving on the floor in my living room, I am watching Rebecca Mezoff on Patreon showing some of her tapestry sketches. So inspiring!! I wonder how I can use her design approach for inkle bands. This ties in with my woven landscapes in an interesting way! Thanks, Rebecca!

Members of my guild in Albuquerque will be showing and selling their handmade goods at this pop-up show June 4th-7th. Although I will not be selling, I will be giving a demo on June 4th from 10:30 to 11:00.

This color combination was inspired by art on the side of an Albuquerque bus last week. The main color is a dark olive. There are 7 colors in total.

I warped up this custom guitar strap today. I am loving how the thin line of bougainvillea looks between the wine and turquoise lines.
I wrote about using thin lines of color this way in my book, In Celebration of Plain Weave: Color and Design Inspiration for Inkle Weavers.

I'm trying something new just in case it can help keep me out of PT for shoulder issues. Yesterday, my friend, Jennifer, spent all day helping me wind a warp and put it on her Saori loom. Big learning curve for me! I brought it home to my weaving room. I'll let you know how it goes.

Because I want to have a nice strap inventory before the HDLI Guitar Show on May 31, I have challenged myself to see how many I can weave before then. Since December I have been working on commissions and it feels great to be working on my own designs again! These are from yesterday and today.
