King Louis is one of those old-school Cali classics that still reigns supreme. This powerful indica descends from the legendary OG Kush, a strain that’s basically the DNA blueprint of modern gas.
OG Kush's story begins with Chemdawg, a mysterious strain that popped up in the early ‘90s from a bag seed bought at a Grateful Dead show in Colorado. That Chem cut went on to father Sour Diesel, OG Kush, and countless others that shaped the West Coast scene. Hit that with some landrace Hindu Kush genetics and you've got OG Kush which made its way to California from Flordia in 1996.
But it’s the multi High Times Cannabis Cup award winning strain LA Confidential (OG LA Affie x Afghani) that gives King Louis its deep sedative power and that signature earthy‑pine bite. Together, these two icons created a strain fit for royalty — dense, frosty buds, gassy pine aroma, and a knockout chill.
