Maybird Mouse has arrived in Foxsong Forest. 🌿🐦

She carries a tiny velvety bird in one arm and a bouquet of roses in the other as she walks slowly through the birchwood, singing in the first days of spring.

Her softly blended skirt, little crown, and Foxsong leaf charm make her feel like a quiet woodland celebration of the season.

Two little Easter mice I finished today. 🌷

Each one is handmade and one of a kind, with her own tiny basket of spring treasures. One carries painted eggs and a flower, and the other has a tiny bunny tucked into her basket beside a hand-painted egg.

Made in my Maine studio with spring colors, wool, and a lot of tiny details.

Sunshine, Tender of Spring Gardens 🌼

She arrives just after the thaw, when everything is still a little unsure… when the soil is soft, the buds are waiting, and even the breeze seems to pause.

Sunshine carries her tiny vial of Spring Potion through the garden, offering quiet encouragement wherever it’s needed most.

Sunshine appears just after the thaw, when the world is still uncertain of itself. The soil is soft, but hesitant. The buds are formed, but closed tight. Even the breeze seems to pause.

That is when Sunshine steps in.

She wanders gently between stems and stones, offering quiet reassurance to all who are not yet sure they can grow. Tucked at her side is a tiny vial of Spring Potion, which she tenderly uncaps and tips into the breeze.

A tiny bud opens, thirsty for the sun.

🌸 Tessa Bloomwick 🌸

Tessa Bloomwick keeps a warm and welcoming cottage at the edge of Foxsong Forest.

Long before guests arrive, she sets water to simmer and gathers roses in her tiny pink cottage cup, choosing blossoms that have just begun to open.

Fresh flowers rest by the window, soft shawls are draped over chairs, and no one leaves without tea and something sweet.

I like to imagine Tessa carrying her little bouquet home along the forest paths, preparing her cottage for whoever might come by.

This mouse was handmade in wool and is small enough to rest in the palm of your hand. She is part of my growing Foxsong Forest collection.

This mossy mound beneath the pines was scattered with hundreds of tiny pinecone fragments — the remains of many squirrel meals.

It was easy to imagine the squirrel sitting on the soft moss, turning a pinecone in its paws and letting the pieces fall all around.

Even in winter, the forest floor holds the traces of small daily lives.

Last night in Foxsong Forest, Pushna set out beneath the rising moon to gather mooncap dew — a potion said to restore tired spirits and help wandering creatures find their way home.

She travels quietly through the woodland after dusk, collecting each glowing drop with patient care before the mushrooms fade again at dawn.

Tiny potion jar and velvety mushroom in hand, Pushna has made her way into the shop. ✨

Clare Fenmere knits where the birch bark peels and the wind hums softly through the trees at the edge of Foxsong Forest. She gathers her colors from the meadow and works them into quiet rows of warmth.
