Wednesday October 4th will be our final Women Orators Wednesday in the before begins. (We will close on the Day of the Dead Nov 1 after our 50th anniversary Halloween Costume Ball on Oct 31) Women Orators Wednesday has been a monthly open mic dedicated to all women identifying individuals and those that love them. This series began in March 2022 after reopening from the pandemic shutdown. A year and a half later and it has given a voice to so many, as first time poets feel safe in this space. Elevating the frequency of our final WOW will be with sound bath healing and featuring the poetry of my Soror of sorority - vendors will be present for your delight and our merch table will be open as well, where our 50th anniversary tees, baseball caps and First Edition books will be available.
