If I could write a letter to heaven.
This is what I would do.
I would send it up into the night sky.
With hugs and kisses, postmarked just for you.

I'd ask all kinds of questions.
Some big.
Some small.
And make sure I add in, "I miss you, Papa."

I'd tell you lots of stories.
Mostly about your great grandchildren
And how I think they are one in a million.

Life is different now, since you went away.
Things are still beautiful, but some days are dark and gray.

As I walk the roads of The Farm I feel you here with me.
I ache so badly to say, "Papa, tell me a story."
