A quick update from me — and an apology.
Over the last month, LOGOS has grown faster than I could have imagined. We’re currently doing nearly four times the business we were doing last month, and while I’m incredibly grateful for that, the reality is that we weren’t prepared for growth at that speed.
Our backstock was depleted faster than we could replenish it. Some of our suppliers couldn’t keep pace with us, so we’ve been working to find better and faster supply partners. And until this week, there were only three of us making, packing, answering messages, and trying to keep everything moving.
If your order has taken longer than it should have, or if you’ve had trouble getting an answer from us, I’m sorry. I own that.
Another issue we’ve discovered is communication. My inbox has become completely overwhelmed with spam, sales pitches, automated emails, and customer messages all landing in the same place. Some of your emails were buried, and in a few cases they were sent directly to junk before we ever saw them.
We’re fixing that.
Starting now, [email protected] will be our dedicated email for order-related questions, missing items, damages, shipping concerns, or anything else that needs our attention. We’re also bringing on dedicated help to monitor it so customer support is no longer competing with everything else happening in my inbox.
And we’re hiring.
More hands are starting this week, we’re rebuilding our backstock, improving our supply chain, and putting systems in place that are built for the company LOGOS is becoming instead of the company it was a few months ago.
When I started making these candles in my kitchen in January, I genuinely could not have imagined that nine months later I’d be writing a post explaining how we were overwhelmed because thousands of people wanted something we created.
That part is humbling.
But your support deserves more than gratitude. It deserves us getting better.
So thank you for your patience, thank you for believing in what we’re building, and thank you to everyone who has extended us grace while we’ve been catching up.
We grew faster than our systems did. Now it’s our job to catch them up. And we will.
