Dragon’s Stone — also known as Dragon’s Blood Jasper, is not actually a Jasper at all. Primarily composed of Epidote and Red piemontite, it is associated with both the root and heart chakras.
This combination brings compassionate wisdom to a warrior energy, think: fighting fair, speaking truth without causing harm, standing your ground or protecting what is important while remaining heart-centered.
Its fire aspect brings vitality, confidence, and creativity, while its earth element provides grounding, resilience, and a sense of security. Together, these help cultivate perseverance, motivation, and an abundance mindset.
Dragon’s Stone can be worked with during periods of exhaustion, lethargy, or emotional heaviness, as it is believed to help draw up Earth energy, rekindle passion, and awaken inner strength. Many associate it with personal empowerment, boundaries, and transformation through adversity.
It STILL never ceases to amaze me to learn about the stones I was called to work with, without initially knowing why…Mars is squaring Pluto currently, which bears a striking symbolism. How DO we wield our personal power?

I was only recently introduced to this one, we definitely get what we need in right timing. Charoite immediately evokes this mystical, ethereal vibe, yet you can sense a depth and richness to its essence.
This stone is known for guiding transformation through acceptance and surrender, rather than through force. With links to both Sagittarius and Scorpio, it’s bringing the wisdom of higher truths down to earth. Its action is through softening, relaxing , and receptivity.
This is a very supportive stone in times of change, both in accepting things we can’t change, and in opening to guidance from spirit or our higher selves to change the things we can.
This relaxant quality is notably effective for nervous system support, calming the nerves,relieving heart palpitations, soothing an overactive mind or adhd symptoms.
Resonating with the third eye chakra, it’s an ally in dreamwork, meditations, and when seeking inner or intuitive guidance.
This is a stone for learning to trust what’s unfolding, even before it makes logical sense.

Malachite — The Stone of Transformation
Connected to both the heart and solar plexus, malachite bridges emotional awareness with personal power. It supports both emotional and physical healing, and can be used in tandem with medical treatments for any issues , but most notably menstrual cramps, arthritis, and asthma.
A strong cleansing stone, it works to release stagnation and energetic blockages throughout the system. Known as a truth revealer, malachite brings hidden patterns, emotions, and behaviors to the surface—supporting deep introspection, habit-breaking, and therapy or inner work.
It also acts as an amplifier for intentions and manifestation. During times of change, it can help to push past your comfort zone, recognize opportunities, and navigate periods of feeling stuck or uncertain.
Traditionally, malachite has been used for energetic protection, especially intrusive energies or psychic attack.
Because of its absorptive nature, cleansing after each use is important. Polished pieces can handle water (avoid saltwater), but sage, selenite plates, or burying in the earth are preferred methods.

So, I made this pendant the other day…and now I can’t find it! Last I remember seeing it was while taking this picture. I checked everywhere including the garden and in pockets. Im wondering if Willow( the dog that only likes to eat/chew on sharp objects such as safety pins and glass bottles for some reason) may have gotten to it. 🤔😫

Black obsidian was a very interesting stone to dive into. Ruled by Saturn and Pluto, it’s known as the stone of severance and power. Throughout history, obsidian has been used for mirrors, weapons, and cutting tools—this is where the direct energetic correlations come into play.
As a form of volcanic glass, obsidian immediately brings shadow work to mind. Use mindfully and only when you’re ready, as it can bring things up from the depths quickly. It works to expose illusions, cut through obstacles, and reveal truth.
Obsidian is also a powerful tool for cord-cutting rituals, helping to sever energetic attachments of all kinds.
Its most widely known use is protection, particularly against fire related themes such as violence, conflict, and abuse. It can also be supportive when you feel an unwanted presence in your space or are intentionally exploring the unseen.
Due to its intense nature, if already feeling hot-headed or overwhelmed, this may not be the stone to reach for. When you’re feeling shy, vulnerable, or disconnected from your strength, obsidian can help awaken inner power and bring latent abilities to the surface.
