I am totally a newbie at gardening. My limited history includes managing to somehow kill an *aloe* plant. But I am determined that this year is going to be different! I have started my first ever vegetable garden. And because privacy doesn't exist anymore, all my algorithms know I am trying to learn 🙃
So I suddenly find my feeds filled with AI slop claiming to be "gardening hacks"- the other day one was claiming I should fill my garden beds with TP rolls and plant a tulip in each one, and they *miraculously* turn out picture-perfect! Even as gardening-illiterate as I am, I KNOW that's wrong (and insanely expensive!)
You know what has been helpful in my learning gardening journey? People! Imagine that. I ask amazing people like Cheryl Silvestre Faison and Vicki Morrison who actually know how to grow plants and they have great advice.
So if you've ever thought about learning to bake sourdough, but have the *sneaking* suspicion that the AI slop being fed to you about it is wrong somehow, come learn with me!
