If you had a chance to read our blog posts, you will know that this marble tile rug mosaic started the entire design for the bedroom we made over for . It was the biggest and scariest DIY that we have done to date and the mix of Thassos Marble, Carrara Marble and Basalt was the perfect combonation. I hand laid each and every one of these pieces by hand a few nights before the big reveal and to me it’s still breathtaking!

At the beginning of the year, I made a conscious decision to only buy products for our home that were quality, and would stand the test of time. Last weekend, I took it a step further and decided to clear the counters and surfaces of a bunch of mass produced clutter that didn’t fit our aesthetic anymore. IT FEELS SO GOOD. I rewarded myself with a new coffee table book.... like I need anymore of those... 🖤

This bathroom right here is the smallest space I have everrrrr worked in. Just for scale, the vanity is only 14” deep. I know people with bigger feet than that! Making the design count in a space like this was my priority. Designing something this tiny made me feel like the queen of teensy bathrooms!

Lighting in a space is everything! When choosing our lighting from we knew we needed something that would soften the space. The ceilings and dark beams give very masculine structure to the space so I selected lighting that leaned more feminine. The brass hardware, white shade, curve of the arm and round faceplate all take this very angular space and give it a gentle side.
