I am unsure how the bell peppers and watermelon came to be planted together. It is possible that some seeds from the previous year may have survived. I am considering whether I should thin out the plants and relocate them to a different garden bed.

Chickens are smart, but not *that* smart! 😂 I'm out here checking the coop, wondering why only two birds are on the roosting bar and two are missing. Found one on the fence, got her back in, and now the last one is on the highest point of the roof, refusing to come down! 🤦‍♀️ Let's see what tomorrow brings.

Well my hen Black Rose is definitely a Rooster. He scared me and the hens this morning trying to crow for the first time. He kept trying. The cutest thing I have ever heard. He's getting so big and he's so handsome.
