I found these little flags and greenery from Studio McGee at and layered them on top of a few favorite coffee table books for an easy Memorial Day moment. Simple, classic, and meaningful.

Retirement still feels like a dream, even a year in. Loved celebrating Kim’s retirement, yesterday and spending time with friends—some of them for 25+ years. All of us connected through our time at UA. where we worked, graduated, and built so many of the memories we still laugh about today. Truly grateful for friendship and my time .

Apparently I look young enough to be the mother-to-be… 🤪

Baby shower for Jordyn and baby Charlotte Raye Winters — “Charlee.”

And yes… I’ve already decided we’re skipping anything that has gran, ma, or me in the name. I’ll be going by Sassy 💁🏼‍♀️.

Usually one of my cousins is my sidekick — and today it’s Xan, with Jordyn (Erik’s daughter) as the very obvious mother-to-be.

Although… a woman in the ladies room asked if I was the mother-to-be. She clearly didn’t get a good look at my 53-year-old wrinkles.

Needless to say — that dress is going straight to the BACK of the closet.

Now I need to know…

What are y’all called instead of Grandma?

I’m still accepting suggestions besides Sassy. 💁🏼‍♀️

So many sweet, funny memories with Uncle Ronnie —
Gatlinburg trips every other year, watching the Tide beat the Vols, his love of people, music, and most importantly, the Lord.

But the memory I’ll always cherish most is this one.

My dad couldn’t be there to walk me down the aisle…
but Uncle Ronnie was.

He didn’t hesitate. He just stepped in — steady, kind, and strong — exactly the way he always has.

“To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.”
— 2 Corinthians 5:8

Heaven gained a good one. 🤍

To many he was Mr. Lett.
To others he was Pappy.
But to me, he was Uncle Ronnie.

I hope you have a family like ours — where when we get together, you know we’re in the room. 😉🎶

Loud. Joyful. Full of love.
