**QUILT RAFFLE**
Whoa!!! She is SUMMER!! ☀️🌈🪻🌷
This quilt is really something special. I know, I know, I always say that. Buuuuut…this quilt top is made entirely out of Liberty of London Tana Lawn (think the feel of a fancy ladies summer scarf).
I used a super high loft, light-weight batting ☁️ in this quilt and the backing is a beautifully rich colored Tilda chambray. The texture from the quilting really pops because of the high loft batting and it feels like a dream!
The quilt measures 63” x 72” and I hand 🪡 sewed binding on this one with a cute chunky stitch. This. One. Is. So. Beautiful!

I love fabric and all the little details. Liberty of London hails from London of course, and started on Regent Street in 1875! They created Tana Lawn in the 1920’s that was made as a cotton to mimic the feel and drape of silk. They still only have their single original flagship store, the Tudor-style multi level shop in London but do ship their fabrics worldwide (a fever dream of mine to see it in person one day). Most high quality quilting cotton ranges $12-$16/yd, however Tana Lawn is $42/meter! (It’s the good stuff). Also a cool factoid, Liberty of London creates many of the fabrics used in the Netflix series Bridgerton. 🤩👗
