This is the project that got me in the woodshop several years ago. So here is the story.
Leanne (that is my wife) would always burn herself on the oven whenever she would cook in the oven. So like a good husband I went about to solve this problem. I ran across this YouTube video one day ( I think it was called "oven thing-a-ma-jig") and thought to myself I can make that. So I went out and I made that.

Now for those of you thinking that was a very selfless act let me tell you that is very kind of you, but this is the reality. I like lasagna,stuffed peppers, cornbread dressing, cakes, pies, and the such. I was worried that if she kept burning herself all those things would stop making their way to my table. So as you can clearly see it was a selfish act. However the other version makes it seem as though I am a hero, but at last I just like the way she cooks. 🤣
