5 Small Design Shifts That Change Everything
You don’t need a complete remodel to make a room feel intentional, grounded, and high-end. Often, it comes down to scale, light, and placement:
Mount rods high & wide — Instant ceiling height.
Place front legs on the rug — Connects the furniture instead of floating it.
Use the 3-light rule — 2700K warm task, accent, and ambient light instead of harsh overhead fixtures.
Rule of threes — Style surfaces in odd numbers with varied heights and textures.
Layer texture, not clutter — Natural wood, linen, and greenery ground neutral spaces effortlessly.
Which of these are you trying first this week? Save this post for your next weekend reset!
