Come see The Cottage Needle out in Shady Cove this weekend...the new Tilda fabrics have arrived and are going fast!
Coming REALLY SOON ... Annual Material Girls of Shady Cove Quilt Show & Bazaar!!!! October 10th & 11th from 19am-4pm
Come ready to see some absolutely stunning quilts, check out the quilts we will be donating, find some cool homemade Christmas presents and to try and win a quilt, a silent auction bid and/or a raffle basket which a lot of local businesses have donated to! There will be hourly prizes, vendors, a bazaar, a silent auction, floor bingo, a "scavenger hunt" and, of course lots of quilts!
Our Featured Quilter this year is Darnell Young who is known, loved by (and related to .. lol) so so many in the Upper Rogue Valley. We will be featuring 25 of her quilts including the very first one she ever made! And, speaking of first quilts, we will be featuring many of our members' very first quilts to show you that you don't need to be intimidated by quilting and that if you have any interest at all in sewing/quilting/enjoying new friends, we highly encourage you to join us!
We are also adding a Bobablastic Food Truck ... so come hungry and enjoy the day with family or friends and a brunch, snack, lunch or an early dinner!
This year's quilt being raffled off is absolutely stunning! I'm adding a closeup picture of the exquisite quilting done by the lovely Shady Cove resident Shelly Rue.
We are a 501(c)3 - we make, and donate, quilts to the local hospitals, the VA, and local community members (or family members of ...) who have experienced a life-altering/traumatic event.
