In celebration of Founder’s Day on Saturday, August 1, we’re delighted to introduce our newest candle collection—created to honor the timeless beauty and rich heritage of Urbanna, Virginia.
Founded in 1680, Urbanna is one of Virginia’s oldest and most picturesque waterfront communities. For centuries, this charming harbor served as a bustling colonial to***co port and later became known for its thriving oyster industry and maritime traditions. Every street, dock, and historic building tells a story of the people who helped shape Virginia’s past.
The name Urbanna is believed to mean “City of Anne,” chosen in honor of Queen Anne of Great Britain, whose reign coincided with the town’s early colonial history.
Inspired by the rich maritime history that shaped the historic port town of Urbanna, each candle in this collection is hand-crafted to remember the past. From Waterman’s Tide and Salt of the Earth to To***co Leaf and Queen Anne’s Garden, every fragrance reflects a piece of Urbanna’s enduring story.
