You can hire the cheapest staging company.

You can also buy sushi from a gas station.

Just because you can… doesn’t mean you should.

Anyone can fill a house with nice furniture. But great staging isn’t about putting pieces in a room. It’s about creating a thoughtful design plan that highlights the home’s best features and helps buyers connect emotionally to the space.

The details matter. The layout matters. The scale, flow and story of the home matter.

What buyers remember isn’t the furniture itself… it’s how the home made them feel! That’s the difference between staging that simply looks furnished and staging that helps a home sell.

Do you stage FSBO properties? 💯 YES! I will give you every tool in my bag to help prepare your home for the market, regardless of whether you’re working with a realtor or selling on your own.

Selling your home is a big investment and first impressions matter. My goal is to help you present your home in a way that allows buyers to immediately connect with the space and see its full potential.

When I work with a FSBO seller, I don’t just bring furniture. I bring a designer’s eye, a clear strategy and experience helping homes stand out online and in person. I’ll provide honest feedback, recommendations for improvements that offer the greatest return and a staging plan tailored specifically to your home and target buyer.

Whether you’re listing with an agent or taking the FSBO route, your home deserves the same thoughtful preparation!

What makes my staging feel elevated?
It starts with design first.

I’m not just filling a house with furniture. Every decision is intentional. Before I select a single piece, I’m looking at the layout, proportion, flow and how the home is meant to live.

The goal is to create spaces that feel natural, cohesive and believable. Spaces that highlight the home’s strengths and help buyers instantly understand how each room should function.

When staging is done thoughtfully, buyers don’t have to work to see the potential. They feel it the moment they walk in.

That’s what creates an elevated stage.

If you value intentional, design-driven staging for your listings, I’d love to work together!

There’s staging a home and then there’s staging a DOME HOME!

These spaces are anything but cookie-cutter, which is exactly what makes them so special (and a little tricky). With curved walls, unique angles and unconventional layouts, it’s not always obvious how furniture should live in a space like this.

Instead of fighting the architecture, I leaned into it… creating intentional zones that highlight the flow, soften the curvesand help buyers understand how to live here. Because when a space feels this different buyers don’t just need to see it, they need to feel it.

The goal? Turn “this is cool, but I don’t get it” into “I need this house!”

Thinking about listing a unique property? Don’t leave it up to imagination, let’s make it unforgettable!

The original parquet floors were the star of the show…warm, timeless and full of charm!

The real challenge was this MASSIVE great room. When a space is this large, it can easily feel empty or confusing to buyers. So instead of treating it as one big room, I broke it into three intentional living areas:

• a formal dining space
• a cozy conversation area
• and a comfortable living room

This helps buyers instantly understand how the space can function in everyday life. Instead of wondering “What would I even do with all this space?” they can immediately picture hosting dinner, relaxing with friends or curling up with a good book.

And that’s the power of staging- turning square footage into livable moments buyers can imagine themselves in!

Sunrooms can easily become the “what do we do with this?” room, but not this one!

☕️ A cozy bistro table moment for morning coffee
🪑 Slipcovered chairs to soften the space
🪴 Simple greenery to echo the outdoors
🤎 A grounded console vignette to balance the brick and add warmth

The goal? Help buyers immediately picture themselves sipping coffee, reading a book or hosting wine with friends. Every space should tell a story… even the in-between rooms.

Ottawa Hills, you never disappoint! 🏡

This beauty already had great bones… original hardwoods, a stunning fireplace, charming built-ins and those dreamy french doors leading to the sunroom. My focus with this stage was simple: highlight the architectural character while keeping the design light, neutral and elevated.

In a home like this, staging isn’t about overpowering. It’s about enhancing what’s already special. I wanted buyers to immediately feel the charm, the flow between rooms and the natural light pouring in. Classic Ottawa Hills character… just styled for today’s buyer!
