A grad cake request for my favorite little lady ❤️ .dare
This naked cake came together with layers of pistachio ganache and orange marmalade, finished with vanilla buttercream, macarons, and handmade gumpaste flowers.
I haven’t had the chance to bake something purely for fun in a while, and I forgot how much I love the process. Also… this flavor combination turned out so delicious. 🌸🍰

I used to spend a lot of time creating fun confections in the kitchen, and I’ve been dreaming of making these gum paste sugar flowers for a while now. With my daughter graduating, I finally made the time to sit down and work on them for her cake.
I have to say, I found the process so relaxing and I’m really pleased with how they turned out. Now all I want to do is stay home and make flowers. 😂🌸
