A kitchen in Compass Pointe required extensive remediation due to a prior cabinet refinishing job performed by an inexperienced wall painter. The painter failed to clean and sand the surfaces, used incorrect products, and applied a finish that resulted in orange peel texture, runs, chips and crackling due to contamination. Additionally, the baseboards and quarter round were painted with latex wall paint, and the seams were improperly filled. This lack of expertise can lead to permanent damage, doubling the cost of repairs and rendering the cabinets ineligible for special discounts or promotions.
Please do your research before hiring anyone to refinish your cabinets. Ask for referrals, they should have a sample of their finish, spraying is the only way to receive a professional finish but some do not have the skill set to spray without resulting in an orange peel texture, they should have close up photos of their work, ask for step by step instructions, if trim paint like, Emerald, Advance, Command or diy paint & primer in one gimmicks, like Farmhouse Paint is their choice of paint. Run. These paints are not made for cabinetry.
The client chose BM Snow White for the main cabinets & SW Gauntlet Grey for the island. New hardware was also installed.

We've added another impressive kitchen renovation to our portfolio with our recent work at Compass Pointe. BM Snow White was the client's chosen color, which has become a sought-after color lately. This kitchen renovation includes new hardware, backsplash, countertops, and navy blue tile on the island. 💙
