This is what I heard when the power went out. It was weird hearing all the lightning, then suddenly it was like a lightning bolt had an intention and zapped the utility pole…on purpose. It was quite loud.
It took almost 12 hrs to get my power back on yesterday. Understandably.

We were glad to host Leadership Southwest Louisiana for Local Government Day.

President Brian Abshire and our Administrative staff welcomed the class and gave participants a chance to learn more about parish government and the work being done across Calcasieu Parish.

We enjoyed the opportunity to spend time with the group and share more about what we do.
