Another live edge table complete! This is a Spalted Maple top with a Maple base. Coated with Rubio "Pure". Roughly 8' long x 3' wide. Steel slotted inserts were inset to the bottom of the table to keep the top straight even in extreme heat, humidity & cold.

Doing some more scrap wood experiments; this time a Soda/Beer can dispenser/holder. This is my 2nd & more efficient design attempt. I know they sell these in plastic & wire/metal for like a dollar, but there's something fun about making one from scratch! Now that I have the design I can make out of any hardwood. Thoughts or feedback?

Doing some more scrap wood experiments; this time a Soda/Beer can dispenser/holder. This is my 2nd & more efficient design attempt. I know they sell these in plastic & wire/metal for like a dollar, but there's something fun about making one from scratch! Now that I have the design I can make out of any hardwood. Thoughts or feedback?

5 hours of sanding, including the Chamfer'd edge and it's finally ready for the top coat! Solid hard maple countertop roughly 68" x 28" x 1.5". Gonna put some "pure" on it tmrw. Can't wait!
