REBEL RIDGE ===
Most of my adult life has been spent in the military as most of you are aware the United States Army is like any organizations, there's good and bad. Recently, I discovered a neighbor was under the impression that the military is full of idiots being ordered around daily which is so far from the truth. Once you graduate from your Basic Training and AIT via 8 weeks or 12 weeks the military is like a regular civilian job working from 7:00AM to 3:00PM, 8:00AM to 4:00PM or 9:00AM to 5:00PM etcetera.
My point is --- I try to encourage young people as much as possible to be a part of the military either active duty or the reserves because the training received is unlike any other training that you will ever have in your entire life. For instance, I'm sure many recall so many incidents when black Americans especially men has been harassed and even killed by Caucasian police officers. Reviewing video footage, reveals the black American man is not resisting but yet still gets killed. The difference of military men is regardless of what race you are, we will never allow anyone via police or any other legal agency to take advantage, disrespect, or treat us in any unconstitutional manner. The military teaches us to have “Respect for everyone including the Law.” But if the law or any person of authority crosses the line ----
A military person will fight back even if you are the law because we're not going to just sit still and let you handcuff and arrest us or even kill us when we know we've done nothing wrong. I'm sure you've guys have seen movies like first blood with Sylvester Stallone, or Rambo and other military movies. Although they may be movies, there's a lot of truth to how a military person reacts to the civilian law when they overreact and abuse their authority. Bottom Line --- the military especially the United States Army and the United States Marines will fight to defend regardless of who you are and that is the big difference between civilians and military which is why I encourage especially black American men to go in the military to avoid being killed by unethical law enforcement officers.
I encourage everyone to watch the latest motion picture called “Rebel Ridge” on Netflix and you will understand this post. All it takes is one black American man who served in combat to fight against all odds. Written by:
