For those of you know, that know our story, we have been coming up to Maine for almost 18 years. We try to come up at least once a year. During this stay, we stayed in Southwest Harbor. SW Harbor is like 20 min or so from Bar Harbor, but still on Mt. Desert Island. We rented a VRBO, because we had the girls with us. First I have to tell to tell you the cottage is stunning and felt like home. Second, we decided to check out .. Tommy literally had the freshest fish tacos he’s ever had. I opted for grilled chicken (I know, not seafood.. but I’ve been eating crab for the last few days 😂). If you come up to the area, I HIGHLY suggest you check the little village of SW Harbor and NE Harbor just a stones throw away! Definitely try !!! 🫎 Michelle & Tommy 🫎

On Thursday night we “Escaped from NY” and headed north. Insane traffic in CT, it took us I think 11 hours to get up here. On our way up we had to stop … if you are coming through Ellsworth it’s well worth the stop. The best part is that it’s 24 hours 🎉 we rolled into Bar Harbor in the wee hours of the am. Today is our last full day here 😢 it has been a wonderful getaway with these 3. Lots of memories made, sightseeing, whoopie pies acquired and so many laughs. These 3 are my world and I wouldn’t have it any other way. We are back in store Weds! Michelle & Tommy 🫎
