The Lincoln Park Farmers Market is waking up again and you can feel it in the streets, and we are not sitting on the sidelines while it builds momentum, we are in it, moving with it, making sure every neighbor knows exactly where to be when Saturday hits.

Our team just dropped another wave of signs across Lincoln Park, posted up on corners, tucked into the rhythm of the neighborhood, quietly doing their job while the city moves around them, guiding people toward something real, something local, something worth showing up for.

Rigatoni pulled up to the office like a shot of espresso on a Monday morning and I swear we needed it. This little guy is pure movement and curiosity with eyes that look like they already know your name and your story. His human kept it classic with the name and it fits him perfectly, a little Italian flair with a whole lot of personality packed into a tiny frame. You do not just meet Rigatoni, you experience him, and just like that our Best Friends of Lincoln Park crew got a little louder, a little brighter, and a whole lot more fun.

This is how a Monday is supposed to start because I locked eyes with a little legend named Peanut from half a block away and knew it was going to be a good day. She walked up with that calm sweet energy and instantly made the moment feel real, and when I learned she was named after a loved one it hit even deeper.

We connected like old friends and when it was time for her to go she was not having it, her humans had to carry her away while she tried to stay right here on the block with me.

Lincoln Park this is your reminder to slow down, tap into the moment, and let the little things set the tone because today is already a good day.

Happy Friday! Roger made his official debut today and it felt like a small win worth celebrating. This charming two year old finally gave us the green light for his photo, and the moment he sat there looking right into the camera, you could feel his personality come through. Named after a tennis legend and raised by parents who clearly love the game, he carries himself with a quiet confidence and a whole lot of sweetness. Fridays are already good, but Roger made this one better, and we are proud to welcome him to the Best Friends of Lincoln Park showcase.

Franklin stepped up like he runs Lincoln Park… and yeah, we let him have it. Little dude is all gas, no brakes. Big ears, big personality, and that “pet me right now” energy that you just can’t ignore. You meet him once and your whole mood shifts. That’s the kind of vibe we’re here for.

This is why we started the Best Friends of Lincoln Park wall. Not just cute pics… real neighborhood personalities. The ones that make your walk better, your day lighter, your block feel like home.

There’s something special happening on the corner of 2501 N Lincoln Avenue! At JATES Design + Build, we’ve been quietly falling in love with the real celebrities of Lincoln Park… the dogs who walk these streets every day with their humans. The ones who stop by, wag their tails, lock eyes with us, and instantly make the whole block feel lighter. So we decided to celebrate them!

Our “Best Friends of Lincoln Park” wall is growing into a living, breathing tribute to the pups that make this neighborhood feel like home. Every photo tells a story. Every face brings a little more warmth into our space.

If you’re nearby, come by and see it for yourself. Better yet, bring your pup and let us add them to the wall!
