I’ve been so busy with redoing all my gardens, with the need to get them done before the weather gets too hot (which yes, I finally finished them), that I haven’t had time to post. I’m starting back working in my studio now. I finally got one of my signs painted and hung! Now to do the big main sign. Good Morning Everyone! It’s been a crazy busy spring, and Mother Nature has been off her meds and driving us all crazy! lol

Many of the ornaments I have painted over the years, have been of passed on pets. This little sweetie was named Copper, and I painted him on one of the special 3" glass ball ornaments I have. I put their name on the back of the ornament, along with the dates, if appropriate. Most people tell me they leave them out all year long!

There seems to be a lot of babies being born lately, with more on the way!! I've been busy making various baby items, both as gifts and for clients. Lots more to come!! It was so much knitting these outfits for twins!! And these baby bibs are just too adorable, plus, they have a waterproof backing.

First project in my new studio space completed! My friend’s daughter just had beautiful identical twin girls and this is for them! A huge congratulations on such a precious blessing. I so loved painting this for them. (Posted with permission).
Tomorrow, back to doing some sewing for clients,then back to painting ornaments!
This is such a wonderful space to be creative in - I’m loving it!

Two coats of gel stain done. Tomorrow polyurethane - yay! I was able to clean up and organize in the studio today too. My cutting table is created from a couple different furniture pieces. The drawers on the one side are originally from an old rolltop desk that I bought as to side tables at an antique store quite a few years ago. The other side is a desk and I built shelves on either side of the desk,to somewhat make the whole look be cohesive. Then came lots of leveling as the floor isn’t straight, so I could build the top to be level. I am thrilled with the space I’ll have to work in here and the lighting is so much better than I had before. It’s going to be such a great space for painting, sewing, and creating, especially that I was able to add so much memorabilia around this room!
