The story of these beauties 😍. I stumbled upon these two pieces a while back, and, although I had no clear vision at first, I was determined to breathe new life into them. After experimenting with different methods to strip the old paint and making necessary repairs to the wood, I began to assemble the pieces. Initially, the color palette eluded me, but inspiration soon struck, and I decided to embrace a nautical theme. I embarked on a journey to transform this ordinary furniture into an extraordinary statement piece, leveraging painting techniques that pushed me out of my comfort zone. Throughout the process, I acquired new skills, and each completed step sparked fresh ideas. The project evolved from a simple color scheme to a intricate design featuring three colors, resin, molds, and a finishing touch of rice paper. Every step was a first for me, and the end result is a testament to my growth. Now, this one-of-a-kind piece is ready for its next home, where it can elevate any living room or bedroom.
