Hi, I’m Sarah, the Day in Made by Day 🌸
I’ve always had one foot in the past. I spent my 20s in Glasgow earning a PhD in decorative arts, focused on James Whistler’s picture frames. (For real, I’m a frame doctor)
Now that love of old things lives in my needle. I take lasting traditions, like silhouette portraits, scripture samplers and heirloom keepsakes, and make them feel at home in a modern house, where old meets new and everything is made to be kept.

I’m also a wife, a mama to four, a Narnia and Anne Shirley girl, and still the proud owner of my 1989 Molly doll.
