Hello there. I realize I haven’t made a post in a while, and that’s because I haven’t been able to make any new material.
So I decided to come on here and let everybody know, that we will be taking a break and stepping away from the epoxy resin for a while.
As I do LOVE creating pieces for my Ooey Gooey Contraband followers. I enjoy doing so and learning how to do new things with it and enjoy creating awesome things and I just love seeing the final outcome when everything hardens and is taken out of the mold. It brings me joy 🤩.
I just do not have the space or time for it right now. I hope to one day step back into it all. That’s the goal. Make new things. Bigger projects. Beautiful work. Like wall clocks and much more.
However without the space, time and money/customer base. It’s just not doable right now.

So. Here are some throwback pictures of pieces I’ve once made. Also peep my wife in the picture of our very first arts festival. Where she made candles and I made epoxy resin pieces. One day. We also would like to attempt to do candles again as well. One day. In our future.
We cannot give a time on that one day of when it’ll be or if it will ever actually happen. However we can say that it is future goals for us.

⚠️ALL Proceeds from these 7 coasters in this post right here, will be going towards hurricane relief funds‼️

These seven coasters are being sold separately.. You can buy more than one for sure but they are not being sold as sets.
Each coaster is being sold for $10. (Plus shipping if being shipped).

There will be two different ways you can pay for them.
1.. You can pay me directly and I will go buy items that they are desperately needing, will even send pic/video of proof and will be dropping all items off at the fire station that’s accepting donations and has crews in the mess to help.
2. We can send you a link to our church where you’d send the money straight to them, and it’ll go to their funds they’re raising for hurricane relief. I was told to make it known that if you choose this way of payment, that when it comes times for taxes to be done, you’ll be able to claim it on your taxes.

The story behind the last 4 coasters. The pictures were taken by me in like 2016, when a friend and I decided to take a trip to VA just so we could drive down the blue ridge trail during fall time.
It was a BEAUTIFUL trip.

I can’t even imagine the amount of heartbreak everybody affected by Hurricane Helene is going through right now.
If this goes well and these sell and my other sets that I’m selling to replenish the materials I need to make more.. If it goes well. I will be making more to sell to go towards the hurricane relief funds.

Here’s a picture sneak peak of the process of the new technique I’m trying on coasters. Still have to fill the bottom of one and sand the edges and do a last thin top layer on all of them before they’re 100% complete and ready to sell to a new home. A three piece coaster set. 😍
