It’s not “enjoy the long weekend”
It’s remember why we have one.

This weekend isn’t about BBQs or beach days. It’s about silence. Sacrifice. Empty boots and folded flags.

Somewhere, a mother still sets a dinner plate that never gets used. A child grows up knowing their hero only through stories. A wife clutches dog tags instead of hands.

We don’t get freedom by accident. It was bought—paid for with blood, with lives, with futures never lived.

So before the burgers hit the grill, pause. Remember. And teach your kids what this weekend really means.
