Projects getting wrapped up for the week:

One of a kind planter. This customer wanted 36 inches worth of planting depth. In order to get that, this deep square had to be set on 50 inch legs. It’s probably a good thing there are no cameras in the workshop, as there would’ve been comical entertainment of the short person moving this planter around. Thankfully my father in law built me mobile work tables to make climbing inside the planter to stain much easier. Hoping the blueberry bush going inside of this planter thrives for the coming growing season. 🫐☀️

As we get into ball season and look for summer projects, this idea was pitched to me at our last craft show. These baseball shadow boxes can hold baseballs/softballs. They could be stained a wood color, white, or yellow. We could also add a backing piece for easy wall hanging. ⚾️🥎

We are set up at Black Bear Fest. Also brought along crochet items today. Come out to River View High School from 9-2 to shop vendors, FFA plant sale, car show, and so much more!

We’re excited to be at this local event. There’s been a lot of crocheting and building over the past few days. Come out and support the kids and other vendors!

AJ’s Woodworking will be joining us for our Black Bear Market on Saturday, May 2, from 9 am to 2 pm during our Black Bear Fest! We will be at River View High School for all of the fun!

AJ’s Woodworking will have an assortment of patriotic wooden decor, cedar planters, and wooden gift items. There will also be assorted crochet items for sale.

After a very successful day at the La-Z Acres Campground, we will be rebuilding our inventory for our next event. Next Saturday, May 2nd, we will be at Black Bear Fest at River View High School. Save the date to check out student work, local vendors, and so much more.

Just in time for spring planting! Make sure you’re prepped and ready for your garden or flower patch 🥕🥦🌸🌱

We make custom planters out of cedar wood which is naturally rot resistant. Planters can be left natural or stained.

Pictured below is a raised garden bed to save your knees and back from pulling weeds and harvesting.

I’ve always wanted to try carving out union designs but haven’t had the courage to do so. It was definitely a learning process, and with practice the carving will get better; however, I’m very proud how this first attempt came out.

A bunch of planters have been leaving the shop. Thank you to everyone that has bought and ordered from us over the past week! Spring break is allowing us to get caught up on various orders and prep for the two shows we have for the month of April. Pictured below if one of the two custom planters ordered this week 🌺🥕🥦

Last craft show for the month of March! We are set up with our new BBQ caddy, stained and unstained planters, flags, bottle openers, and crosses. There are over 30 vendors supporting the Guernsey County Jr Fair Boer Goat Committee. Come out and enjoy raffles, vendors, and food!

Warmer weather means thinking about getting the grill out. A new project was completed this week was this barbecue caddy. Fit all the necessities in a single carrier. If you’d like a different stain color, let us know and we will whip one up for you 🌭🍔

We are set up and ready to go at the David Barber Civic Center in Newcomerstown. Several vendors have cups, personalized pens, keychains, plants, decorative wreaths, and so much more. Don’t forget to shop local this weekend!
