Use Almond Oil in your brownies. Here’s why: Almond Oil coats the flour more evenly and limits gluten, giving you dense, chewy brownies instead of cakey ones. Plus, SunnyGem Almond oil is rich in heart-healthy fats and Vitamin E, while butter is higher in saturated fat.
FUDGY, CHOCOLATEY BROWNIES
Ingredients:
1 cup white sugar
¼ cup light brown sugar
¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp espresso powder
150 ml SunnyGem Almond Oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
½ cup all-purpose flour
Chocolate chips
Directions:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 325°F. Line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper.
2️⃣ Whisk together sugars, cocoa powder, and espresso powder.
3️⃣ Stir in the almond oil until smooth and glossy. (It may look thick at this stage and that’s okay!)
4️⃣ Add vanilla and eggs. Mix well until the batter loosens and turns silky.
5️⃣ Fold in flour just until combined. Don’t overmix.
6️⃣ Add in your chocolate chips.
7️⃣ Spread into your pan and bake for 25–35 minutes, until the edges are set and the center is slightly soft.
8️⃣ Cool completely before slicing for clean, fudgy squares.
