Remember this beautiful Bahama Mama?? It's Apio!! But now she's known as Sylvie (we like that a lot better too!). She's a contestant in the AHS Calendar Contest and she sure would love your votes! You can check out what her adoptive family says about her and vote for her right here: https://www.gogophotocontest.com/associatedhumanesocieties/entries/456437

Apio/Sylvie was one of several dogs that we were asked to help from the streets of the Bahamas in 2021. When she arrived, not only was she heartworm positive, but she was just so scared and confused. Having never really lived in a home, she didn't know what to make of all that had changed in her life! But she sure adapted very quickly and learned to love making friends and being taken care of. As soon as Apio received her clean bill of health a few months later, she was discovered by a wonderful couple that fell in love with her and welcomed her into their lives. We're so happy for her!

Check out her update and give her a few votes! You can also check out all of the contestants and enter your own pet too, right here: https://www.gogophotocontest.com/associatedhumanesocieties/entries/456437 Hurry though! Voting ends on 8/16!
