In this renovation we wanted to elevate the staircase with a simple but impactful change, to do so the clients opted to change the traditional the wooden balusters with a bit of wood refinishing and sleek cable-style balusters. This simple yet striking change gave the staircase a contemporary, minimalist vibe. The clean lines of the cables contrasted beautifully with the more classic elements of the home, giving the space an updated, airy feel without losing its warmth. Plus the cables allowed for better visibility through the staircase, which opened up the space and created a more open, inviting atmosphere.
