Introducing and new style of t-shirt quilt! I would call this one more of a cozy blanket 😌. Recently, a client requested this style and I really loved working with it! This is more of what’s called a “rag quilt”. The back is fleece, and the seams are on the outside instead of the inside. The seam is then finished off with some careful 😉 snipping to give it this fringe look! It’s a little faster to assemble and the price reflects that. What a fun way to snuggle our memories 🤗

I forgot to get some better pictures of this quilt before I sent it off…🤦🏼‍♀️

But this was one of those quilts that pushed me to think outside the box. This is a sock quilt. My client was given socks every so often through the years as a gift from a family member and she wanted to preserve them. All the small squares you see are piece of socks! They are all so fun and colorful. She also included a handful of shirts. I decided to add this white and grey sashing around the shirts to offset them and break up all the colors. The backing is the same white and grey polka dots.

These socks were not only super fun, but super thick! This presented a new challenge and took a little coaxing to run it all through my machine, but I’m so happy with how it turned out! Thank you for entrusting me with your “sock quilt” vision!
