Hi, I’m Lorie—the face behind Distressed By Me Designs!
What started as painting one piece of furniture for my own home quickly turned into an obsession. Before I knew it, one piece became two, then ten, and eventually my garage was full! 😆
I’ve always loved giving old pieces new life and creating beautiful, cozy spaces that feel like home. These days, you’ll find me hunting for vintage treasures, painting furniture, creating handmade décor, and helping clients refresh their homes with decorating services.
When I’m not working on a project, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family and my five amazing grandchildren, enjoying the beauty of Seneca Lake, or dreaming up my next furniture makeover.
One of the things I’m most excited about is being settled into my space in Hector—my hometown. It feels special to bring my business back to the community that helped shape me, and I’m grateful for the support I’ve received along the way.
